Clean the iPad Screen
iPad has an oleophobic coating on the screen; simply wipe iPad's screen with a slightly damp, soft, lint-free cloth to remove oil left by your hands. The ability of this coating to repel oil will diminish over time with normal usage, and rubbing the screen with an abrasive material will further diminish its effect and might scratch your screen.
Reboot to wipe the memory
Generally speaking, the iPad will manage its own memory, but occasionally problems can occur. If the iPad is running slowly or an app keeps crashing or won't start. If this happens you can restart the iPad by holding the sleep/wake button until the "Slide to power off" slider appears. Once your iPad has shut down restart it by pressing the sleep/wake button again.
Keep iPad up-to-date
To ensure the iPad receives the latest security updates, has the latest features and remains bug-free install the latest updates. You can do this via the General Settings. For help read this article.
